Sekolah Dibubarkan, Seluruh Siswa Tak Lulus

Surabaya - Lantaran seluruh siswa kelas tiga dinyatakan tidak lolos ujian nasional, Sekolah Menengah Atas Wali Songo ditutup. Sekolah di jalan Simo Jawar ini menyatakan tidak menerima siswa lagi untuk ajaran pendidikan tahun mendatang. “Sekolah kami telah dipermalukan,” kata
Wakil Kepala Sekolah Ishaq Isoe Maloko, Senin (16/6).

Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surabaya, sehari sebelumnya, menyatakan seluruh siswa kelas tiga program Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di SMA Wali Songo tidak lulus ujian nasional. Hasil nilai akumulatif ujian nasional
untuk seluruh siswa menempatkan posisi sekolah ini dalam urutan ke 140 dari 142 sekolah dengan jurusan IPS di Surabaya.

Ishaq berdalih penyebab ketidaklulusan anak didiknya disebabkan nilai pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi yang jeblok. “Semua di bawah standar, 5,00.” Padahal untuk mata pelajaran lain, semisal Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, ataupun Geografi, cukup bagus. Yakni, rata-rata memperoleh di atas 5,00, kata dia menambahkan.


SMA Wali Songo Surabaya didirikan pada tahun 1989 lalu. Sejak dibangun, kata Ishaq, sekolah ini banyak menampung anak-anak dari keluarga tidak mampu. Lantaran konflik yang terjadi pada manajemen
yayasan ini, sejak tahun 2008 lalu, sekolah ini tak lagi memiliki siswa kelas I dan II. “Mereka keluar semua dan pindah ke sekolah lain,” kata Ishaq.

Sebelas orang siswa yang kini dinyatakan tidak lulus merupakan sisa dari 20 siswa kelas tiga yang masih bertahan. “Tahun depan tidak akan menerima siswa lagi,” kata dia.

Sekretaris Komisi Kesejahteraan Rakyat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Surabaya Muhammad Alyas mengaku prihatin dengan buruknya hasil ujian nasional SMA saat ini. “Anggaran pendidikan selama ini dipakai apa?,” kata dia mempertanyakan.

Padahal, lanjut dia, pemerintah kota telah menganggarkan dana yang cukup besar untuk biaya pendidikan. Selain itu, dalam beberapa kali pertemuan dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surabaya, Komisi berkali-kali mengingatkan agar membekali para guru sekolah untuk mempersiapkan anak
didiknya menghadapi ujian nasional.

Wakil Ketua Komisi, Baktiono mengatakan Komisi berencana mememita penjelasan terkait jebloknya nilai ujian nasional di Surabaya. Selama ini, Dinas Pendidikan lebih banyak menyalahkan pihak sekolah ketika
nilai ujian nasional buruk dan jeblok.
